Meet the Author

Hi! I am so glad you are here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Janel and I have a passion for anything involving adventure! I was lucky enough to have amazing parents that took us everywhere and my siblings and myself got to see more of the United States than most adults have. I remember countless hours in the family van and camper as we explored our great country.

I have one son, and a step son, that have been my travel sidekicks since they were young. My husband works on the road so my kids and I have been exploring the U.S. on our own. Who can say no when they say, “mom, lets go an adventure!”.

Traveling as the sole adult on these adventures has challenges, but largely memorable (and comical) moments.
